Life can be really tough. Sometimes, we feel like we're all by ourselves with our struggles, thinking nobody else gets what we're going through. When marriages end, it can leave us feeling really down, scared, and ashamed, like we're all alone and stuck.
Starting over can be super hard, especially when you're still looking after your kids. I get it; I've been there too. But I want you to know, God is looking out for you. He feels your pain and catches every tear you cry. And He's not going to leave you feeling like this forever.
I know healing is possible, loving again is possible, and you can thrive after the fallout of your marriage.
ties that bind
Father’s day can be a day chalked full of all sorts of emotions!
Whether we have a wonderful earthly father or not, we have the example of the kind of love that binds all ties together, that restores and heals brokenness, and will seek the lost to bring them home.
We all share one father whose love is perfect and will never fail us.
Our Abba Father’s name is Jesus.
this is the day
“This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
True joy should never be dependent upon our circumstances. Many of us know this in our heads, but walking it out in times of trial, or even trying to on a daily basis is a whole other story.
cherry pickin’
God’s word is not a moving target.
It can’t be cherry picked which is often why many don’t like it.
Do I believe it is fully His word and truth, or it is just a good book I can apply to my life when it fits my agenda?
tilling and weeding
He who tills his land will have plenty of food,
But he who follows empty pursuits will have poverty in plenty.
Proverbs 28:19
“Whatever God is urging you to clear away cannot begin to be compared to what He ultimately wants to bring you.”~ Beth Moore
