Life can be really tough. Sometimes, we feel like we're all by ourselves with our struggles, thinking nobody else gets what we're going through. When marriages end, it can leave us feeling really down, scared, and ashamed, like we're all alone and stuck.
Starting over can be super hard, especially when you're still looking after your kids. I get it; I've been there too. But I want you to know, God is looking out for you. He feels your pain and catches every tear you cry. And He's not going to leave you feeling like this forever.
I know healing is possible, loving again is possible, and you can thrive after the fallout of your marriage.
eyes to see, ears to hear, & a heart to listen
Jesus said in Matthew 18:3, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”
forgiveness
Three little words, I forgive you…easy to slip off the tongue, but often times incredibly difficult to actually mean.
Friday's Good
Friday’s Good because God loves us so much that He did not want us to be separated from Him forever.
Friday’s Good because God made a way, he bridged that gap that separates us from Him through Jesus’ death on the cross.
ambiguous loss
“One of the hardest things you will ever have to do, my dear, is to grieve the loss of a person who is still alive.” UA
to enjoy or endure
“Time is the dressing room of eternity. In the few fleeting days of life on this planet we are given the opportunity to prepare for eternity.”
~ Billy Graham
more of You, less of me
“Knowledge is knowing what to say. Wisdom is knowing when to say it.” UA

“I can endure all these things through the power of the one who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13 NIV
there are blessings in the breaking
“Peace is not found in the absence of the storm, but in the presence of Jesus.” ~Pastor Jeffery Poor
is this truth
Knowing the truth, versus the story we tell ourselves is vital, especially when our stories are building walls and could potentially destroy our homes and relationships.
heal the wounds
He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Revelation 21:5 NIV
boundaries
“We can't manipulate people into swallowing our boundaries by sugarcoating them. Boundaries are a "litmus test" for the quality of our relationships. Those people in our lives who can respect our boundaries will love our wills, our opinions, our separateness. Those who can't respect our boundaries are telling us that they don't love our nos. They only love our yeses, our compliance. "I only like it when you do what I want.” ~ Henry Cloud
another year over
We each have 8,760 hours, or 525,600 minutes in a full calendar year, and how we spend that precious time matters.
“Teach us to realize the brevity of life so that we may grow in wisdom.” Psalm 90:12 NLT
the greatest of all presents, His presence
God’s presence is truly our greatest present of all.
Love Has Come
“Don’t leave Jesus in the manger. Don’t remember Him only at Christmas. Instead, learn to walk with Him every day.” ~Billy Graham
growth in the suffering
If you knew that your suffering, and your most painful crosses would lead to your greatest joys in heaven, would you embrace them?
it’s all upside down
There’s no doubt if you follow Jesus you will live in an upside-down world…
God is in the details
God is in our story, and the details of our story matter because our story is supposed to bring glory and honor to Him.
why Not me
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 NIV
